WOW! Didn't we enjoy ourselves then! After predicting that March would be a busy month and being let down by the weather, clearly those of you who couldn't make it last month turned up this month and turned the April Trans-MISSION into our busiest month ever! Just over 270 people graced the Extra Time Bar and with only standing room in the lounge, the dance-floor was packed all night long as DJ's Vicky Valentine and Jasmine Clarke hit just the right spot to keep you rooted to the spot on our heaving bosom, oops we meant dance-floor!
 This month we had to bid a sad farewell to Trans-MISSION door-girl Sarah Wells who is hanging up her heels for the time being to become a lady of leisure. Many of you will be familiar with Sarah's ascerbic wit that somehow combines the cheekiness of Jimmy Crankie with the cutting sarcasm of Joe Brand to produce a happy compromise that somehow manages to bring a smile to every face that passes through our hallowed portal (the door that is). We wish to offer Sarah our warmest thanks for the 3 years sterling effort she has put into helping to make Trans-MISSION the success it is and we're sure that although she won't be greeting folk at the door, she will continue to be a regular face at the club. |
