Trans-MISSION celebrated its 2^nd birthday with a free party at Prague V in Manchester on

SATURDAY 19 JUNE 2004

Happy Birthday to Us, Happy Birthday to Us, Happy Birthday Trans-MISSION... You get the picture! Around 500 (yes, 500!) people turned up to our free 2^nd Birthday Party at Prague V in Manchester to join the celebrations. Admittedly around 300 of them would have turned up anyway... but 200 t*girls mingled with the mixed crowd who came to share in the jubilation as DJ's Jasmine Clarke and Vicky Valentine provided the funky music that formed the backdrop to another happy Trans-MISSION party.

The card pictured on the right was just one of the many we received from well wishers - thank you to all of you who took the time to offer your congratulations to us. Whilst our party was very different from those we hold in London (not least because of the mixture of 'regular', 'gay' and 'transgendered' party-goers) the atmosphere was similar as people just relaxed and enjoyed themselves, no doubt assisted by the free entry and happy hour drinks that flowed until 9.30pm!

Here at Trans-MISSION HQ we would like to thank all those of you who come along to our events, whether in London, Manchester, Birmingham or elsewhere, after all - it wouldn't be Trans-MISSSION without you! CHEERS!
